He was in Beirut, Lebanon, with a relative. Then he boarded a bus towards Al-Hasakah. He was stopped at a checkpoint between Tadmur and As-Suknah in Al-Raqqah. It is unknown which side the checkpoint belonged to, whether the opposition or the Syrian government. Someone heard him calling for help from his parents, then the phone was cut off. That was the last contact, and we haven't heard from him since.
