On August 20, 2012, the missing person went out with his uncle Ali Ahmad Kanjo and his cousin Diyar Ali Kanjo, a minor. He was wearing linen trousers and a colored shirt. They left Aleppo for Afrin and Homs to buy gasoline and sell it in Aleppo. He had a blue Mazda Jewel car and they did not return after that. According to a witness, they were standing in front of a gas station in Homs when plainclothes patrols and police cars/Shabiha arrived and took them all to an unknown location.
