Abducted from the countryside of Derik (Al-Malikiyah) city in Al-Hasakah governorate by PYD/PKK militias, and it is most likely that he was handed over to the Syrian regime. Another young man named (Nidal Muhammad Salim Othman) was also abducted with him, and his fate is still unknown.
