According to the Turkish Red Crescent, the missing person is in Bulgaria, not Turkey. According to the Turkish Red Crescent, which informed the wife of the missing person that the Bulgarian Red Cross had taken the missing person to the hospital, a DNA test was not requested from the family, but the personal information of the missing person and his family was taken. Two days later, the Turkish Red Crescent contacted the wife and sent her a video to identify the missing person and told her that the video was from the Bulgarian Red Cross. The wife confirmed that the one in the video was her missing husband. They also assured her that the missing person was sick and in a hospital in Bulgaria without mentioning the name of the hospital. Communication with the wife was cut off, and after a month, she contacted the Turkish Red Crescent, they told her that they had done their job and could not provide further assistance. This was since August 18, 2023.
